Kevin Brett is the owner of Brett Law, PLLC. Kevin’s practice is focused on complex family law litigation, including equitable distribution, support, and custody. Kevin opened Brett Law after nearly a decade practicing family law in Pittsburgh during which he has had the opportunity to represent numerous judges, business owners, and even fellow family law practitioners.
Kevin’s clients appreciate his diligence, candor, compassion, and strategic thinking, as he always keeping an eye on the overall cost-benefit analysis for his clients. Attorney Brett does not use a one size fits all approach. The circumstances, personalities, and most importantly goals are different in every matter, all of which Kevin considers when deciding the best way to proceed.
In addition to his family law practice, he has also litigated numerous, non-family matters, including complex estate matters, partition of real estate and guardianships.
Kevin is a graduate of Duquesne University School of Law. He was honored by his peers as a SuperLawyers’ Rising Star in 2026. Kevin was recognized as one of Pittsburgh’s 50 Finest in 2022. He was also selected as a member of the 2020-2021 Allegheny County Bar Association Leadership Initiative Class. He is an active member of the Family Law Sections of the Pennsylvania and Allegheny County Bar Associations. He previously served on the Allegheny County Bar Association Family Law Division Council and the Pennsylvania Bar Association Family Law Section Legislative Committee.
